I understand what's required but frankly I don't understand WHY?
If an end user already has access to the crownjewels ie: your scripts, why on gods green stuff does the email have to match that which the script was originally licensed...
I can think of a few million reasons why this becomes a nightmare, including my current situation of being the tech responsible for installing something for a client but who does not have direct association with the email address, DESPITE having associated with the correct licenses in the download.
What happens when you have a team of people working on a website who need to access mods for their bit? or problems when the email address belongs to someone who left the company and won't hand over the info or access..
Like I said, the logic escapes me...
