Sounds like you did the admincp/index.php changes twice, or, since you upgraded, you added the new code for 1.0.1 instead of overwriting the 1.0.0 code.
Just go back into the admincp/index.php and remove the section that doesn't match the code in the 1.0.1 readme file.
