I recently purchased vbagallery and have a couple questions.
I have a gallery setup as a 'members gallery'. I can't decide if I should continue to use attachments along with the gallery, or just use the gallery for my forum images. The gallery and forums are integrated well enough to go either way. What is everyone else doing and why did you make that decision? Has anyone decided to stop using attachments completely? I would appreciate any advice or thoughts on the matter.
My second question. When you limit members to a max overall file space (attachments and/or gallery) eventually they will begin to delete some images so they can upload new ones. What are you doing about the threads that used the now deleted images? My forums currently show no signs of an image if it can not be found. This can be confusing for new readers of old threads. I have seen some forums show an 'image no longer available message'; how is that done?
