I'm having a problem with a custom field I set up.
My custom "State" field is a drop-down box with the fifty U.S. states as options. I have set the 'Field Required' and 'Field is Searchable' buttons to YES.

The problem is that when users complete the upload form, they are able to skip (not answer) that quesiton. I've tested it and when I peek into the table, the field is blank.

There are no blank lines among the options and there are carriage returns between them.

With this set-up, users should NOT be able to not provide an input for this field -- correct?
