Is there a way to split vBgallery from vBulletin and have them run on different servers/locations, still talking to each other?

The reason Im asking is my host has PHP safe mode ON which prevents the use of vBgallery on my main webserver. I understand this is a long shot, and a probable no

but I need to ask. Any1?
