Am I using the right URL for href=?

I use my gallery as a photobase for other pages on my site by just copying and pasting thumbnails from the gallery into other pages (using FrontPage) like this one. By doing so a default hyperlink is created so that visitors can just click the thumb and be transported to the full sized image in the gallery. It's a very fast and convenient system.

My question is - Is the hyperlink address correct? I know it works right now, but it contains some elements I'm not familiar with such as "cutoffdate=all". I'm concerned that if future gallery versions rewrite the URL to a shorter or different version that all of my links may need to be modified and there are many. I guess what I'm asking is - What is the proper link address to a photo in the gallery? Right now mine look like this:

<a href="http://www.japan-101.com/photos/showimage.php?i=55983&c=161&cutoffdate=all>

and this:

<a href="http://www.japan-101.com/photos/showimage.php?i=53277&catid=searchresults&searchid=87>

Are these stable?
