nope, changing the .. to . did not work
still get 'the page cannot be found'
I was able to turn off validate for a few usergroups so I could keep testing. Seems the rest of it is working.
on a side note, am i trying to do this the hard way? should I just move it so that it's under the /forum directory
will this make things a lot easier?
