I was thinking on something similar, integrated on their CPanel and on each message they posted, on the user info provide a link to their personal gallery, where people can see their gallery.
This involves adding a custom field where to store the ID of their gallery. I'm thinking a little on it, maybe this weekend have some spare time and hack some templates.
