RP 3.11 - joint registration with PP 5.21

Hi

I have one PP5.21 installation and one RP 3.11 installation with only a few users. Now I would like to merge the registration system of both. So the RP registration system shall use the Photopost registration system.

I could make a fresh install of RP 3.11 to do that. It does not matter if those few users get lost.

The only thing that bothers me is to loose the content with a fresh install. The articles and the categories. I would like to keep them. I hate to do this all again.

Is there any trick how to achieve this? I.E. make a fresh install and then delete catogies in phpmyadmin and import that table of my old installation? Same for the table with products?

Any hints are welcome
