I think that I understand what you said now. You are saying that vB stamps all posts at GMT 0 (London time). The users of vB set up their time offset themselves. In my case, I am at GMT -8, California time.

The server is located in California. So, this means that I need to add 8 back to GMT -8 and add 7 to compensate for the Day Light Saving time?

With the Day Light Saving time NOT in effect, it would be 8, right?

What does the "t" do in the GMTOFFSET box?
