Opening up to Google

In the Global Options I see the option "Use Spider-friendly URLs?"

If I want to allow search engines to find the photos and the annotations of the photos, is this the way that I do it?

My goal is to allow the search engines to find the photos and the associated text explanations, but to force the person who wants to view the photo to see it in the photopost context, not as a hotlink to the actual photo.

For example, they would search in Google on "Larchmont Fire Department" and Google might return this image

http://www.larchmonthistory.org/phot...o=5351&cat=512

but the user wouldn't be able to get to the actual image separate from this display.

My application is an archive of historical photos for the Larchmont Historical Society. I am interested in sharing the information while retaining control over the images.
