OK, I have edited the config-inc.php and added the $onthefly variable. What do I need to do next? I had a 4.8.1 database, and the installer ran the 4.7.2 upgrade (not sure if that affected the DB or not). I have 4.8.5 files. Thank you for the help omegatron. Sorry I''ve been such a pain.
