i am still left unanswered to this questions.
1.

I want to hide the IP Address viewing to every group, only administrator group should be able to view it.
I would prefer to hardcode this, so IPs are strictly disabled.

I have given users an option to upload 10 files simultaneously, there is a drop-down menu - Show thumbnails during processing? with 2 options yes and no.
When selected yes, users can see the thumbnails while processing those files.
But even when set to NO, they can still see those thumbnails.
I asked for you to post a url to look at so I can see if your passing the variable
I cannot give an url to you for that page, coz this happens while uploading, i would request you to kindly create a test account on my gallery and try to upload more then 1 picture simultaneously, and select no from the show thumbnails during processing.
You will get to see the 2 thumbnails
