My gallery is installed here:
http://gallery.tech-arena.com
Version : 4.8.2
DB Information: photopost +
vb installed on same db
I am starting to post problems reported by my members:
1.
"alt text" on the thumbs on the main forum page show the path (instead of url)
"/home/sandeep/public_html/gallery/data/509/2Aracnik.jpg"
http://forums.tech-arena.com - check the alt text in IE
2. All users browsing the gallery do not appear on whos online list of gallery
3. Gallery takes lot of time to load

i am not sure how to trace the PHP + Mysql load, i am able to do this on forums using third party hack/code from
vb.org
4. Check my gallery cateogories, those dont look like categories
with the dark blue background color on category name.
http://www.viperalley.com/gallery/index.php appears perfect to me
5. I want to hide the IP Address viewing to every group, only administrator group should be able to view it.
I would prefer to hardcode this, so IPs are strictly disabled.
6. What exactly is personal albums ?
7. Uploading Photos as Administrator i have foll. issues.
a.
URL of page to parse images from.
What is this options for ? I tried to attach an image from viperally
http://www.viperalley.com/gallery/da...18Viper_21.jpg copy/pasted this path in text box i got this error:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
b.
Skip upload and process the files in your upload directory
What is this option used for ?
c.
Click here to bypass approval process and upload all files in directory
Why is an admin looking @ this message or why is it necessary to display this message to users, who already are enabled/disabled for moderation of images
d.
Show thumbnails during processing?
Even if set to no, users are able to see thumbnails of images.
e. Processing more then 25 files, i get a script time-out error

always, a majority of users on my site/forums are on 56 KB dialup connectivity
I would request feedback/answers to my questions point wise for easy understanding when i go through follow them.
I will post more as i catch more probs.
Warm Regards,
Sandy...
