Just thinking out loud (er...in type?) here but... what about using the RSS News Feed hack on
vb.org and having it draw from your classifieds instead of an external news source? At least that way half the coding is already done and it would be a matter of figuring out how to have the files produced in the correct format and available for import. What I don't know is how big of a job that would be to do as I haven't really looked into it myself but there's tons of sources for setting up that type of thing on the net.
